Pick one of coffee, sex, alcohol, Facebook
That’s a tricky one isn’t it? Well it turns out it’s not all the tricky at all. There is a clear cut winner and obviously its coffee.
78% of people choose COFFEE over Alcohol, Sex or Social Media. A research conducted on Starwood Hotel guests across the globe – US, France, India, UAE, China etc. late last year revealed this preference order.
It’s a fairly comprehensive survey on ones habits. The complete detail is put up below but there are few points which I personally relate to and recommend which I would talk about first.
58% drink coffee to relax and 55% drink it for the taste – We want you to be those. The other 45-50% odd might be drinking it for the caffeine or the kick but that makes it very transactional. Drink it for the love of it that way you respect the drink and enjoy it more. Relax, soak in some ambience, take stock of life and enjoy your coffee.
54% brew their coffee at home. This is one more thing we would recommend. When you own the methods and the madness it makes much more sense. Your machinery, your blends, your trials and your taste will get you the best cup each day and will surely grow your love for the drink. It gives you much more freedom, its custom tailored to you and it suits your taste. Get a SIF (south Indian filter) or a French press or a Moka pot if you do not want to invest more. It will still serve the purpose and it’s much better. Believe me
It’s a detailed review on the coffee habits so let’s make sense of it one by one
51% feel they could go longer without sex than coffee 73% are good without TV and 63% are good without alcohol but coffee is a must Without coffee Meetings Emotional towards coffee Social Media | Personal preferences and variety ways to relieve probably. But that statement makes sense totally to me No details mentioned but coffee is my first love personally. That’s bound to be so. Don’t you think? In fact we think it should be more 28% feel less creative, 22% can’t get out of bed and 16% won’t talk to people. 81% would want a coffee during a meeting. Who would not want coffee? I wonder how those 19% people are surviving???? Only 56% would order water on comparison 58% say they miss the coffee experiences they had while travelling. So bonded they were to the coffee. It’s a good practice that one should try out the local coffee as that opens up ones coffee taste horizons. The same old espresso everyday makes jack a dull boy 64% work out social media and coffee at the same time. We believe you would be enjoying your cup right now enjoying our blog. That’s probably because people take a break with coffee from work whilst being socially update |
