Tip 1 - Stagger the timings of the coffee i.e. don’t always have the coffee at the same time everyday
o Fact –The brain is a time bound individual. It learns quickly and that too when an incentive is involved.
o So? – Don’t create a routine for the brain. It starts predicting and expecting the caffeine at that time of the day
o Remedy – Staggering will let you enjoy your coffee , gives the brain its dose of boost but does not train/lure it to expect
Tip 2 – Try avoiding the coffee right in the morning, that too black
o Fact – We are lazy individuals and the body & brain take time to wake up even after you as a whole wake up
o So? – A black coffee right in the morning will get processed right away and wakes up the brain and body from the lazy morning. Coffee helps bowel movement coz of this. Over time the body gets a dependency on coffee to wake it up.
o Remedy – Try slowing down the absorption of coffee by
- having it after you eat something
- adding milk and sugar to it, at least the morning one
